Handimax newbuilding V Due joins fleet

The second handymax newbuilding included in the technical and crew management deal between SeaQuest and an Italian ship owner has entered under our management.
The take over occurred upon vessel's delivery to owners at AVIC Weihai shipyard, China.

M/V V Due is a 38,000 dwt bulk carrier, featuring Loa 181 m, B 30 m, D 15.2 m, four cargo cranes. Her fuel consumption can be 25 to 30% less older vessels of the same size, the ship owners declared.

The vessel flyes Malta flag, is classed by Rina and will be employed on a worldwide basis under a long-term chartering agreement.
